i posted this in the 1000 forum too (answer was yes); i'm not sure if the 2500 jj os has the same features so i wanted to check here:

from the manual for jj 1000os i understand you can use the qlink sliders to change tempo, swing and shift timing. my question is, does it allow you to do this in realtime and can record these changes?

by realtime i mean simply you have a high hat set on note repeat and you have the qlink setup to change swing, can you hear the swing changes while you are playing the HH with note repeat?

also, can you use the qlink to change swing etc AFTER a track has been recorded?

oh also the answer is yes to all questions except the last one--no changing of swing/tempo with sliders after recorded, only during recording.

correct.

live swing changes of pre-recorded stuff would RULE, but I have my doubts if we'll ever see it.
