What are your opinions on this subject.
When I want to go live on stage with my MPC 2500 I want to be able to fade in individual elements (kick, snare etc.) , this can be achieved on several ways but what are the consequences of each choice?
I now work with Live 6, MPC 2500, Motu 828 and a BCR in my homestudio and this gives me the opprtunity to not only fade in and out my kicks etc. but als use software effects via Lives sends.
I never owned a hardware mixer because of the inputs on my Motu 828 and thus did not feel the need of a HW mixer.
Am I missing anything special not having a HW mixer or is this a more steady/pro way of working because one does not need a PC?
Any tip regarding this subject is welcome.
Thanks and ciao
