Hello everybody,
New poster and user, so please be gentle.
Got my very first MPC 2500 yesterday. So far I´m loving both the way it sounds and works, but the MPC Sound Library CF card that came with it (the 128MB vesrion) stopped working. The 2500 won´t recognize it. I formatted one of my other CF cards that I used with my SP-404 and both saved and loaded some sounds succesfully to and from this card, so I´m guessing the factory card went fishing. The wierd thing about it is that with the Sound Library plugged into my multicard reader my G5 recognized it at once as MPC 2500 and I was able to copy and back up the sounds. I also tried formating the card after backing it up but my MPC tells me "Format Is Invalid".
Anyone else had issues like this and also, does the 2500 have a tendencie towards being unstable?
Thanks by the way for this rockin´forum, it helped me alot when decieding what workstation to purchase.
