Whats up man,
I got a fantom x6 and mpc 2500. I'm in the process of midiing them up my self. Here's how far I got: Have 1 midi cable going out from mpc to in on fantom and another going from midi out and fantom to midi in on mpc. THen go to menu on the fantom and select system, change both master settings to slave midi. I think the fantom has to be in perfomance (mixer) mode. On the mpc for which ever track you want to use the fantom change the type from drum to midi. Where it says midi off change it to midi 1a (if your midi out cable is in A). Midi 1a will be assigned to track 1 on the fantom. midi channel 2a to track 2 and so on. To change the patches you scroll through the progam screen, it will numerically match the patch number in the fantom. I just got to this the other day so I'm just passing on what little I know. Hope it helps brotha.
