You can apply an effect to one pad or sample the resample it back it so that you have an effected sample...then you can use your effects somewhere else.
I think it is in Step Edit mode.
Go to view:Effect and than pres Insert.
But at 1st you must select the right time(left from view)where your sample is
Than pres Insert and select your Effect(you can make 20 Effects)
To make diffrent Effects go to The Effect page and chose at the left top your Effect number.
I have try it one time and it works.

That just allows for diffent sets of effect settings, you can still only have 2 effects running at any one time.
