I want to use my mpc as a midi controller, play battery 2 cells and record the performance to the mpc's sequencer. I've got my 2500 hooked up thru my midisport2x2 (ins and outs) which is hooked up to my comp via usb. All the outs/ins are "on" in battery. On the mpc, type is "midi" and prg is set to "off". I "rtfm" and it looks like i set it up right....im confused cuz it aint working. what am i missing?
