Does the MPC 2500 come with any samples at all?

I'm looking to buy an MPC on ebay. Do these MPCs come stock with samples on them?

and if they do, should I be worried that the guy I'm potentially buying the mpc from deleted them?

Yeah it comes with programs, samples, and sequences which are contained in the Preset Sound Memory (built-in flash rom). Check the link below and read the Specifications...

is it possible to delete those preset sounds permenentaly?

Yes.

In fact, the first thing you should do is delete them. Why would anyone want to use the stock sounds?
