recording on my 2500?

i noticed that my mpc 2500 doesnt record the lowest notes on my keyboard? i have a 76 key triton ex and around the last 5 blk keys it doesnt pick up the notes ,thats usually not a problem when im using my triton but when its used as a controller for my modules i cant always lower the pitch is there a way to make my mp pick up the lower notes ,or for people who might use the 88 key what do you do?

Not 100% but i think that this is a 'feature'.
