Wave/SEQ FREE??

For you members that are using the Akai OS, how much available memory do you have when your MPC has nothing loaded?


The JJ OS displays the following when NO samples/programs/sequences are loaded:
Wave Free: 118.4MB
Seq Free: 4.6 MB

will check later tonight(uktime)

Akai O.S. 1.22
Wave= 122.4MB
Seq= 1664KB

JJ O.S. 5.09
Wave= 118.4MB
Seq= 4.5MB

JJ O.S. 3.01
Wave= 122.4MB
Seq= 1.562KB

No samples, programs or sequences.

So basically, the addition of the 300,000 note capacity has taken up RAM resources.

That's what I originally thought but it seems to be V5.
I went back and checked and all the versions of V5, 5.00-5.09 all have the 118 wave.
The V3 versions still have the 122 wave.

I see....

Well, Akai/JJ can have all of that memory if they are going to do further enhancements to the OS.
