MPC outputs should be going into the mbox. i hope thats what your tryin to show in the pic but it doesnt look right.

if u ment the midi .. yea they are connected .. i just dont know how to show dat cuz the mpc iz opposite to the mbox in the pic ......... did u watch the video??

I think he was talking about how all the audio hooks to the mBox and then the mBox hooks to the computer.
You picture doesn't look that way.

no .. wat ever comes out of my MBOX i cant hear unless I HAVE SUM MONITORS pluged to the MBOX i did this so i wouldnt have to buy a mixer or a bunch of cables to hear my computer mpc and MBOX together ...i can only hear thing out of protools thru the MBOX trust me ...... MBOX2 > MIC IN> PC >OUT> MONITORS .... ANY DID YALL WATCH THE VIDEO >>> DAZ NOT THE PROBLEM .... PROTOOLS DOESNT RECORD ANYTHING WEN I CLICK ON RECORD

Stop the shouting.
First of all you have to hook your sh*t up right.
Hook the MPC to the mBox, the mBox sends the signal back and forth to the computer through the USB cable.
The monitors the hook to the outs on the mBox.
The only inputs LE is going to record from will be what's the computer gets from the USB cable.

That set up looks quite wrong to me.... you should have

Turntable -> MPC Record In (via pre-amp)

MPC Master Outs -> MBox Inputs
MBox Master Out -> Speakers

Mbox Midi Out -> MPC Midi In
MPC Midi Out -> Mbox Midi In

Mbox -> PC (fireware/usb)

MPC -> PC (usb)

That is all, you do not want to connect you mbox or speakers to the mic/out on the sound card on the pc, the mbox replaces this sound card.

Yeah dude, what everyone said. The picture is either misleading (I do find it confusing) and the video you posted did not show much info on how you have your gear hooked up.

When you are using the MBox you should disregard the computer's onboard soundcard. You will no longer be using it. The MBox now acts as your soundcard.

Therefore you have to connect your MPC's audio outputs (as well as the midi cables) to the MBox's audio inputs. Set the channels you want to record into on Pro-Tools to receive the input from the MBox and make sure you send midi clock or MTC data out from Pro-Tools to the MPC (which appears from the video you have done correctly).

Its just a matter of connecting your audio correctly at this point so that Pro-Tools will record your MPC.

Hook everything up to your mbox...then the usb cord connects the mbox to the computuer and should be the only thing connected to the computer.

yea it all makes sence to me ...thnx err one.... soo i connect err thind thru the S/PDIF...cuz i dont see any other inputs..any wayz .. i guess iz just ma luck ....cuz wen i first installed my mbox and i clicked on the master volumve ...show the volumes for my mbox ...i click options on the mastervolume >options .. and on the mixer settings use to say MBOX 2 .. now MBOX 3 disapeard from the list
