OK So i have isolated my hum problem and wondered if anyone else has or is suffering from this...
The Hum only appears when Multiple jacks are inserted into the individual outputs... mainly outs puts 1 to 4. 5 to 8 work ok with a slight hum, not very distinguishable unless you really listen for it, but once more jacks are inserted... 1 to 4 a distinct hum is audiable.
Its going back to akai for a service next week.... Ive got about a month left on my warranty.
Please check and see if this is a problem isolated to my unit.
