Rec. Track Mutes

Hi,
When I record track mutes of track one, I have these informations (Mute ON/ Mute OFF) also in my other tracks in step edit.
Why it writes these ON/Off information for the different tracks, althougt I recorded it just for tr.01, and althought I only can hear a change on tr.01
(what I wanted in this case)?
And I don´t see the events themselves anymore there. Just in Grid Edit.

Do you have an idea?

I think I got the same thing happening when I used the pads to record track mutes...(TRACK MUTE MODE)

What I did was stay at the MAIN page and dial up the TRACK I wanted to mute in and out then used the F5 button (below mute display) to overdub record my mutes...

Did this the other day so can't recall exactly so maybe the fine ppl here can get this right for ya...

EDIT..just remembered somethin...cursor over to mute and press window to turn "mute events ON" ..

I nearly always forget about watching out for the window button lighting up...to reveal something else.
