Mbox Pro 2!!!!

I know there are a few post out about syncing mpc2500 to protools, but none of them were ever answered. Hopefully someone fully answers this one and save many lost users.

1. I understand midi does not carry an audio signal, mbox pro2 does have a few audio/line ins, problem is its a single plug, but mpc has a stereo out which is 2 plugs, also i have an fantom x6 that also needs to be plugged into mbox,

2. MY CURRENT SETUP:
Roland Fantom x6 slaved to Mpc 2500
Midi out of Fantom to Midi In Mpc 2500
Midi out of Mpc2500 to Midi In of Fantom
Audio cables running from both units(Mpc2500 & Fantom) to mixer
2 studio monitors plugged into mixer
WORKS PERFECT!, but now i wan record this all into pro tools

3. What else do i need(product wise) + need to do to record my productions into the mbox pro 2/pro tools 7.1.3 LE

Someone Please fully answer question. Ive seen so many post were
user are jus left with no replies or anything

This is the EXACT same problem I'm having. Only my MPC tracks into Pro Tools. Why won't my soun rack??????

you need to sync protools up to the mpc with midi beat clock. once it's synced up you can record a few tracks at a time (depending on how many inputs the mbox 2 pro has ... 4 is it?) from the mpc or sound module into protools by routing the signals to the appropriate tracks. it'll take a few different takes, but once you have everything recorded you'll notice it will all be lined up properly since protools was starting the mpc at the same time during each record.

you can go to the support section at digidesign to find out exactly what settings to use on protools. go to the support search and type "akai mpc" and you'll get a few answers that you can go through.

one thing you'll need to do is add some blank bars to the beginning of your sequence on the mpc to use as preroll. this is because if you have the mpc and protools synced up to where protools starts the mpc, when you press record + play on protools the mpc is going to start playing before protools actually starts recording. you need some blank bars in the beginning of your sequence so that the recording can get started prior to your beat playing.

Ok...so now that I've got all my equipment hooked up right (finally) I get the signal twice when trying to make a beat in Pro Tools. When I hit a pad, the sound plays twice or echos. How do I get rid of this problem?
