Mpc 2500 Warranty

my mpc 2500 gone mad weird like it freeze out of no where
and when i press play to here a track it make a rat tat sound then
like 5 sec later it plays the sound it never did that be for

is there a way to send it to someone that will fix it??

Tried a reset and reinstall OS? - in manual.

I would contact your nearest reseller for repair info. If you are UK, you are going to have to go simple solutions (spelt funny).

The link above is for their (Cimple Solutions) terms and conditions page. I need a new 'mode' button on my 2500 as it is now hit and miss as to whether it works or not. To be honest I'm pretty disappointed with the 2500. The sampling engine is poor in respect of timestretching and the total lack of software updates from Akai is a joke. And before anyone starts on about JJ, why should I be paying more money for things that Akai should be doing themselves, after shelling out the best part of a grand in the first place.

Don't you have a warranty on your purchase? If you don't know, then check the terms of the dealer you bought it at.

Yeah well the timestretching feature is kinda replaced in some respects with the Chop Shop mode wouldnt you say? I know that you can get the stretched out noise with Chop Shop. But if you are trying to work a loop in to your beats I think it werks pretty well.

As for the OS updates, I agree with you, however if you've read this post then you maybe in for a treat.... dare I say later this year Zukan?

pb-sh - If you are going to send your machine away for repair ask the shop what you got it from to supply you with a replacement. Not only do you get a replacement you get a feel for another 2500 and see if the little niggles are dependant to you machine.. ;- )

Heres a question...whats the STANDARD warranty that comes with a 2500 if you dont buy it from a dealer perse (say from an ebay seller brand-new)

Machine's 18 months old now. Correct me if I'm wrong but the warranty is 1 year. I will fire an email off to Akai UK though.

Because unfortunately it does what Akai said it does, how good or bad is debatable.
JJ is more like chrome not the car.
