okok icic....but in your opinion is the 2500 worth the extra 1000$

if we didn't think it was, then we'd have the 1000.
tiltable screen, 10 simultaneous outs (8 individual + the 2 stereo), 2 midi in, 4 midi out, 2 q-link sliders and 2 q-link knobs, dedicated number keys, better pads, optional dvd drive and the hard drive mount is standard.
it also looks better in my opinion.

Having been a previous 1000 owner and now a 2500 owner, pads alone are worth the extra $$.
Yes I know you can replace the pads, but you will have to replace and replace... Not to mention all the other goodies that Mike mentioned..
Save up the extra dough... believe me, its worth it.

i have both and use both. 2500 kills the 1000 but the 1000 is good for at the crib and travelling.
