Load directly from USB key

Hi all.

You know with the USB keys you get the flat connector presentation? Well can you get a USB key with the Square presentation like on the back of the MPC? I had a google but couldnt find anything.

Im wondering whether you can directly attach a USB key to the MPC seeing as how they are getting up to serious size now. I saw a 20GB stick the other day and thought it would be a great alternative for backups and general data storage.

the mpc can only be slaved via usb, it can't be used as a host. so no, you can't use a usb key with it.

what you are saying is that you would have no way of accessing the data from the key even if you did find a female / male convertor.....
