Updating OS reads 'wrong card'

I'm trying to update my OS for the 2500 and when I hold [window] and power it on to start the OS updater it simply reads wrong card. I've tried reformatting my card and I've tried installing it using different memory cards. Nothing works.. it still reads 'wrong card'

anyone have any idea how I could fix this problem?

have you tried loading it from the load screen rather than at start up?

tried a different os?

Try the Akai CF card that came with the MPC 2500, i had the same problem until i loaded the OS up on the Akai CF and it worked fine.
