Hi all,

I have 2500, have loaded in some samples that are 2 bars long, sometimes during playback the sample will be cut short, depending on what else is playing in the sequence. I noticed if i mute a certain program that is running in the same sequence, the 2bar sample will play as normal.
Has anyone else had a similar problem and knows what is going on and how to get around this.

Cheers from Dwn-Unda

not sure but it might be your mute groups in the Params windown in your program,
make sure all mute groups are off

^Could be that, or it could be you have your program set to mono instead of poly, or it could be that you maxed out your polyphony. Make sure the program isnt in mono, and make sure you're not using too many samples at once

If this doesn't help then try to be more specific about what's going on

Thanks for getting back to my post guy's.

I made sure all my programs are set to poly, and all mute groups are off, but still having the same problem,

Problem
Basically I have a drum groove running and have a reverse cymble that goes for 2 bars, but is being cut short befor it can play out. But if i mute a specific progam eg. snare or ride cymble, the rev cymble plays out as normal. I think its like you said that the polyphony is being maxed out, but im not using 32 samples at once.

Do the samples in a program use up the polyphony space even if they are not being used. For Eg, I have a program full of samples but am only using 2 out of the whole program for a certain groove.

Cheers

I've ran into the same problem and i dunno what caused it but i moved the longest sample into a new program by itself and it stopped. might be worth a try?
