Hey i'm new to the forum but have been checking it out for a while and i was hoping that someone could help me with configuring my 2500 to M Powered ProTools 7.3.1. I've followed another thread, it didn't work, but it was for a 2000 using PT LE and there are few differences. I mainly need it for MIDI beat clock so i can get the tempo snapped to the grid.

I'm using a IMac with 10.4.10, ProjectMix I/O.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

peace of pie bro
MIDI Out MPC - MIDI In PMIO
MIDI Out PMIO - MIDI In MPC

go in Pro Tools, click on Setup/MIDI/MIDI Studio Setup (or something like that, it's the first option anyway) and create an instrument for the MPC ( i used the one for the 2k and it works like a charm)
Close the Window

Click on Setup/MIDI/MIDI Beat Clock
and put a checkmark on Enable MIDI Beat Clock for:
and also put a checkmark on the instrument you just created.
Close the Window and that's it on the PT side.

Go to the MPC
and Hit Mode + Pad 9
go to the Sync tab

Sync in: 1 (Slave)
Mode: MIDI Clock
Receive MMC:On

that's it(at least is how i have mine setup and it works without a hiccup)
