Hello, everybody
I got a problem while using MPC2500 with an external device (Korg Triton LE).
I'm using MPC 2500 as a slave device for playing real time wave samples syncronized with Korg sequence. But during the syncronized playing the strange sound appears. It'like a sound of MIDI bell an it sounds like a metronome but without the same periodicity. I still can't get the rule of it's appearance but it seems that it's dependes on the time of sample playing.
The main thing I understand is that this sound goes from the external device - when MPC 2500 are not syncronesed by MIDI cabel the problem desappears.
I've learned the manuals of the both devices but can't find an answer.
I suppose that it's easy regular problem but I can't solve it myself.

Please, help me.

Are you sure it's not just some random midi notes that got recorded by accident on either device? Not sure what you mean by the time of the sample - do you mean length?

I mean it seems that sound appears when the sample starts playing.
I'm not realy sure that it's not just some random midi notes but I have no idea where from it goes. Cause this situation the same on 3 projects (Korg Triton songs).
But THANK YOU anyway, I'll try to check this case again.

it happend for me when i started my sync from the mpc try and press start on the triton and not the mpc . and it can also be your metronome that sends a signal to the the mpc if it is then turn it off on the triton, write if it works ..

Mute each track individually to find out if the sound is associated with a specific track.

Make sure none of the realtime controls like your ARP is'nt kicking in when you start your sequence. You might have to do some light editing of the program to get rid of that, that's if that is the problem.
