mpc 2500 import problems

when i try to import samples and kits from my labtop it seems to import fine
then when i play them its the same sound over and over again. the sizes are different so its really weird and frustrating.i tried to load the sounds on my memory card and my 80gb hard drive
hoping someone can give me advice to fix my annoying problem

which mode are you in playing the samples?

can you go in prog mode and play the samples from there? what about trim mode?

i have went into all modes,its the same sample everytime even though there is different sizes

when i ad two different samples from one folder it tells me that it already exists and it gives the replace option.
im gonna try renaming some of the samples on my labtop and then import them and see wat happens

i got it,the names of the samples were long and it was confusing the mpc.
