I've always used akai's OS and i've notice a few minor bugs in it but nothing that really bothered me too much, but today when i was trying to chop samples in TRIM mode it wouldn't let me use the shift and cursors to skip further into the start and end points, meaning that i have to use the jog wheel right from thhe first number of the start and end points which takes ages.
It's almost as if the shift key has stopped working??
I tried reinstalling the OS but it made no difference, can anyone help me out?

I'm thinking now i should finally go JJ.....

i tried it again today and it works...??
it occasionally happens now and again but only briefly....i think it is the shift button that playing up cuz sometimes i need to press it harder or in a certain way before it works.

it looks like it may be on the way out so is it easy to fix? i wouldn't really feel comfortable opening up the machine, i'd probably do more harm than good, so is it easy enough fixed by someone how knows what they're doing?

out of all the things that would f*ck up i didn't think it would be the shift key that would be first to go especially after just a year!

have you tried using the q1 q2 sliders while holding the after buttons? Thats easiest for me, super quick, then I fine tune with the actual number entry.
