Need Help Syncing Cuabse SE With My 2500 (Video)

I've been dealing with this problem for so long and I can't figure out what could be the problem. So I decided to make a video showing what my setup is like right now.

the tempo problem your having is resolved by checking the "Fixed/tempo" button.

It does sync. I have done it. But once I accomplished what you are trying to do I forgot the reason why I was doing it.

I didn't see if you had this already set in the video, but in Cubase make sure that you've set up the sync - go to Transport in the main menu bar, then sync setup, and select the midi device that will send your midi clock. Then on the mpc go to mode->midi/sync, and under the sync tab select Sync in to 'Slave', and you should be good to go.

Then about the tempo in Cubase, once you change it to the temp you want, just click the 'Master' button that's right next to where you set the tempo.

Edit - Ah, I watched your video again and you did have the sync setup. Can you either send or receive midi to any other external device? Better yet, are you able to receive midi from the mpc to cubase? From just glancing at your Cubase config it looks right, be sure and double check the mpc side as well. Good luck.
