Lo Pass Filter.

I adjust the lo pass filter, but it doesn't seem to isolate the bass a well as I thought it would. As I adjust the db it also brings the volume of the sample down. And I still hear some mid coming through.

i never have any trouble isolating bass to my liking. try linking two filters together. you should expect the volume of the sample to go down as you filter it, this is why most outboard filters have output gains.

by the way, be happy the 2500 has the filters that it does. the 2000xl only had a low pass filter, and the cutoff was not sharp at all. all the filter really did was muffle the sound a little bit.
