protools n mpc syncing issue

Im real frustrated. I've been working on this forever and dont know what is going on. I'm trying to set protools to trigger my MPC1000 to play so all my tracks are lined up.

I've set it up before to my motif with no problems. Now I can't get it to trigger my MPC or my Mo6 so i'm assuming its a protools setting error. I've read digidesigns manual on how to set up PT and its very vague-

I followed all the steps. When I hit play with the online button activated in just says in the bottom left "cueing machine". This shit has wasted my whole day and i know its just a matter of clicking a button or something stupid, so if anyone can help me out, i'd really appreciate it.

theres a cool video i came across while trying to figure out this stupid syncing problem. it didn't help me, but u may learn a thing or two from it

this forum is for the 2500 not the 1000

I have the same problem.....can't get it working either !
...It worked perfectly before......

And I'm working with the MPC2500 !!!

this may be of no help, since I just got my 2500, but on my mpc60 there was a sync button.
