O.K. - here's another one I am struggling with....

I like the 2500 specifically 'cos I have 8 outs and this is great LIVE 'cos you can process and mix and thus make stuff really interesting. The thing is, once you've assigned a pad to an individual output, the only way (as far as I can tell) to hear it, is to connect that out to a speaker. Yeah, duh you say - but here's the thing: now I wanna tweek my sequence in my hotel room with headphones....

What I do now is quickly re-assign all the outs to the mains, this works but the levels are all over the place so this becomes MORE 'wasted' work, and make SURE you don't accidentally save entire memory or else your beautifully mixed multi-out program is LOST :( not only that, but you can only work on the SEQUENCE and SAMPLES not the PROGRAM - and saving this work requires one to be extra careful.

I have some ideas I am gonna work on but I am wondering if anyone else has this problem and what they do. Seems like a missing software feature: all outputs to MAIN on/off eh?

Thx

KALI

The 2000 & XL do this by default :)
I'm sure it could be done in a future update to the JJ OS
