midi related again...

ok, I already did this and as i said before what happens this way is that the mpc works like a midi controller for fruity loops. But thats not what I want... I want to record fruity sounds TO my mpc (to a track of a sequence of mpc) using my mk 249... Like, for example, use a fruity bass sound and record a melody with that sound to my mpc (and play the melody with my midi controller) ... is this possible?.... Damn its so confusing...
If im not using the right words it because of my imperfect english... sorry about that.

oh SOUNDS, not NOTES (sounds = audio, notes = midi)

you want to play your fl/reason instruments and record their sound into the mpc with your mpc's sequence? here we go:

what you are going to do is:
midi keyboard midi/usb cable => PC,
PC/Audio interface AUDIO line out => MPC input

you should be good to go after that. my advice: watch your levels

Just one question before I proceed. When u say:
"PC/Audio interface AUDIO line out => MPC input" what do u mean? Lol! I mean The line out of my tascam is where i connect my pc speakers. Are u sure u're talking about the line out? And What is the MPC input? LOL. I'd appreciate it a lot if u gave me the exact names of these. LOL. Please forgive my ignorance! Lol

Okay, so correct me if i'm wrong .....

You want to play the Mk keyboard, using that to trigger the sounds in Fruity, you then want those sounds to be recorded into the mpc ?

1) MK midi out -> tascam midi in (and selected within fruityloops as the midi input) (or just connect via usb and select the usb as midi input)

Now at this point you should be able to play your keyboard and trigger the fruity sounds.

2) Now connect your audio output from the tascam to the record in on the mpc (don't make any midi connections between the keyboard and the mpc)

3) connect the stereo out of the mpc to your speakers/amp

4) on mpc hit MODE -> RECORD

5) now play the keyboard and the sounds that fruity is generating should now be sent to the mpc from the tascam. Make sure 'Monitor' is set to 'on' or you won't hear it. Adjust the Rec Gain knob on the mpc to get a decent level and hit record (F6)

that should sort you out.

P.S This is a standard setup to record any soft synths into your mpc

P.P.S lucky you is a girly, or you'd have most likely got the RTFM lol !!
