Can't delete a folder on hard drive...

I have a folder that I can't get rid of on the hard drive of my 2500. I have tried and tried with no success. I even hooked it up through USB to my computer to access the folder that way. Same story. It says the data or contents in the folder is corrupted and can not delete it.
Does anyone know of another idea that might be able to help me get rid of this pesky folder? Thanks!

You might have a virus in that folder if you use a PC or corrupted file from something else.

Thanks for the info, appreciate it. I will try to run Avast on the drive and see if that fixes it.
