I was checking out this section a while ago and read that there was a problem with ghost notes on the 2500. I use a 1k, and we have had serious problems of our own. There is now a fix for the 1k, for 180 bucks, so I was just wondering if they fixed yours. I am also wondering if the 5000 inheritted the same problem...

The fix you're talking about is fixing something different, the pads on the 1000 were crap in the first place, that's why they had to come up with something.

I think what you refer to is a common thing on all the MPCs, occasionally the pads triggering twice. That's no bug and nothing to worry about.

I had it happening to me and all I had to do was open up the case and realign the pads properly. It's been gold ever since.

Bleeding from the outputs is another story though...
