midi with motif es rack

can anyone instruct me on how to midi my 2500 with my motif es rack?
of course, i can, and will, learn how to do it on my own, but hey it never hurts to ask...

i havent done it yet, but i believe the process is this:

midi out of midi controller to midi in of mpc, midi out of mpc into the midi in of your motif rack.

How u output the sound of both the mpc and motif without a mixing board (which is my set up) is the part i cant remember.

Run the audio out of your motif to the RECORD IN of your MPC turn on your INPUT THRU, to my knowledge you will only be able to use one voice at a time from the motif. I have the ES6 Board which lets me use all 16 tracks from the motif

Just Midi them up Motif Out MPC In and then on the Motif go to Utility and hit Page till you get to the Midi screen and setup the channels for the Motif. Then when your done hit Exit or Enter so it stores your settings. Now Hit MULTI on the Motif until it turns Red and now you can pick whatever you want to choose from and there are 16 channels to choose from and make sure there corresponding to the MPC MIdi Channels.
