MPC2500 with Roland KD-7 Kick Trigger

Is it possible to use a Roland KD-7 kick trigger with the MPC2500 by jacking it into one of the footswitch inputs?
I have my doubts, but it would be nice, my left pinky finger is about to rupture from all the "kicking" when finger drumming.

I have no idea...what kind of connection does it have?

You can connect any cheap on/off footswitch to the MPC, no dynamics however. It's just a switch.
