mpc quality record

hey guys

i have a question
i want to record tracks but wich hardware or software do i need to get me the best quality
At the moment i use cables from stereo out to line in in my computer
im not happy with the quality there is a enoying buzz in my beats and it distorts

please help me

u need a high quality soundcard. go to your local music store and buy one within ur price range, or be smart and get one second hand.

When buying your external soundcard, be sure to get one with Midi out on it. This way you can sync the MPC to the computer software and track the parts in individually. Being able to EQ and compress things seperately is pretty key. peace

A good solution for little money is the mini mbox. (i live in Holland where a friend of mine bought one for around 150 dollar.) You get ProTools with it which is perfect for mixing and editing. (For the PC at least).

Only downside to the M-Box mini is that it has no midi on it.

Hi, I had same problem and I soolved it.
If you want to record just one stereo track from st output, use internal resampling.
Save recorded files on the card and export to PC by USB.
That´s simply and much beter quaility than every cheap interface.
But If You want to record all 8 outputs, you must buy a soundcard or in beter case a recorder.
