Real noobish question about SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY

really? and all that banging on the pads and everything wouldn't be an issue?

so if i were to get a hard drive, what kind of hard drive would it have to be? best place to find one? I'm a total zero when it comes to this.

How are you intending to punish your MPC?

No really, it's a laptop harddrive that goes in there, they are made for that. For types look at the Akai homepage or the sticky threads in the 1000 forum.

Exactly, it's not like you are gonna be playing the pads with a hammer....or are you?!

haha nah, i handle it with enough care. i just figured any little bit of shock from tapping on the pads can't be good for that harddrive, can it? Anyways then I thought "if Akai provided the ability to install the HD, I'd assume they took this all into account so I'd think it's safe. Right?" Right. Makes sense

I'll start considering the HD option for the future . Thanks guys
