Can you explain what you mean by phasing problems? Cause I noticed something like that, which has not been solved (and probably will never be), on the 2500.
On the other hand, the sequencer breaking down when a lot of events are triggered at once was a problem on the 2500's first OS, just like it was on the 1000 from what I heard, and has been solved with the first OS update. Which makes you wonder why it had to happen at all in the first place, when the internals are obviously that similar.

Yes, I thought so. I noticed it on my 2500 when I ran a phrase sample together with the same sample low pass filtered to boost its low end. Most of the time it runs together smoothly like it's supposed to, then on the next loop it seems to phase slightly, and on the following it's alright again. And that regardless of the two samples being in separate tracks or the same.
Can easily be worked around of course by resampling.
