Finally got my goodies from Akai!

oh, well a few years ago..

at night time.. if you go a few blocks away and you were looking at the ballys building..... it was like the whole building was one of those LED scoreboards.... I used to wonder if the people in the building would see the lights flashing from inside.


I used to like AC.. it was fun, but if you go to the residential areas.... it was kind of depressing.

Why spend 300$ when you can rip the CD to your computer and transfer via CF card?

Or are you using it to burn(is that possible) your beats...

if you have a lot of drum breaks you can put them on a DVD instead of having to keep them on your hard drive. I actually put all of my drum breaks on a cd, but if I had too many for a CD to hold, I would definitely put them on a DVD.

if you have other samples laying around that you may use every so often, like sound effects and what-not.

and, if you fill up your hard drive with completed beats.. transfer them to your computer, then put them on a DVD for easy loading in the MPC later on.

there's lots of reasons for a DVD drive.

yeah, DVD's hold more, and they are cheaper then CDs
