F*cking EvilBay Mpc2500

Ok so I bought a MPC2500 off Ebay and I have always wanted one.
Got delivered today and the thing is dodgy as shit.
Move one Q'Link and they all glitch out, the Q'link 3 knob is barely attached and I can wobble it around like a Xbox joystick.

The record input knob is crap too and just touching it lightly creates cut between left and right audio channels and crackles.

Already ruined samples while sampling. The seller knew about this because looking through his sample folder that he left on there there are samples of his that are crackly and cutting pan left and right. most of them actually.

The dude listed it as a little scratched up but in full working order. Scammed me hard.

The parts/shipping/labour i'm going to need are going to make it more expensive than a local bought clean one.

What do you think i should do?

Looking over it there are also screws missing everywhere.. what a lemon.

file an ebay and paypal claim... return that shit.

with the paypal claim you might be able to force him to reimburse the shipping too... not 100% sure on that though.... because it sounds like these are only issues you could find out in person and it sounds like the seller lied. document the mpc, take detailed clean photos of the unit, the condition but make sure it's showing stuff you didn't see in the original ebay auction. Even record a clip of the outputs acting up, and show the included sample how even that is messed up which proves the seller lied.

That sounds like a heart break.

Definitely get it returned... I can't even believe people sell sh*t like that without it being massively discounted...!

I got a POS unit on ebay before...sorry this happened to you...but just file a claim if you cant get the jerk to give back your money.

File a 'not as described' claim with ebay and get all your money back including shipping.

Yeah man, basically do this. I work on ebay for a living & that unit should of no way been listed as working. Make sure you open a case with ebay & upload the pictures. Don't be afraid to kick up a fuss you should hopefully be able to claim back. Its a shame when people don't list things properly. They're f#ing criminals man

Well I've done the claim and recorded video and audio samples + pictures. It's in ebay/paypals hands now. I guess I will just have to wait now

Hahahaha I just decided to have a look inside to see just how bad the condition of this Mpc is. The side panels, those plastic ones that normally just pop off once unscrewed.. Yeah well looks like they have been glued on
