And as requested, a live view of the 16 Pad Grid Edit Mode introduced in OS 1.2.

One whole Pad bank can be displayed at once now. Surprisingly good overview for that small display in my opinion.

You can select an arbitrary region in the field with Shift-cursor, in this pic the white column in the middle, and perform delete/copy/paste/move operations with it.

actually as of yet the 2500 grid edit is better than the 1k because in the new 1k grid edit you still have to go into edit sequence to shift time - in the 2500 you can do it for multiple notes straight in grid edit. in the 1k 3.0 os you can only edit the timing etc of one note at a time. for now.

Hey Nym,

You can edit multiple events with JJ's OS 3. Press and hold the tap tempo button and use the cursor keys/data wheel to select multiple rows(i.e. pads) and multiple columns. Then use the Move (F4) option to move multiple events. Basically the tap tempo button replaces the shift button in the procedures used on the 2500. Superstar JJ ;-)

Software?? Yes..he is responsible for the software in the original MPCs. But those were designed in the 80s. The latest MPCs (bugs and all) do much more than their older siblings...by far.

Yea, but there's no pixels left for that :D

As you can see it's already pretty stuffed.
