Would anybody upload a good baseline program?

I don't have a good 'baseline program' on my mpc right now. I know that most people save one or two programs on their mpc just for baselines and I have problems finding proper sounds (and I'm hella' lazy).
It would be cool if some people could upload some baseline programs.

A microkorg should solve your problems. There is no one program for good bass. Trust me I searched for years. The microkorg solved my problems. Try the search function for it on this site. Im not the only one that uses this machine for bass.......

I know that there isn't 'that awesome program', but I used several pre-made stuff which always sounded good.

Give it some time you'll come across something you like, trust me just keep diggin' and trying different stuff.

I have got to tell you. I used to have the hardest time coming up with dope bass...that was until I was watching a Red Bull music academy video. OhNo was saying that he took an 808 hit and cut out the dope bass hit after the boom....really small. Then he made it loop, put a filter on it and put it on 16 levels. I tried that shit and it BANGS!!!

I hate when people say that. I **** stated that I've been working with my mpc for quite some time. I just asked if somebody could upload a program.

I found out that it's even less work making shit yourself.

I think you should check out Trilogy (spectrasonics) its an vsti and you can use it with cubase...

whatever happened to using your sampler to SAMPLE?

99% of the time, the songs that i sample have bass in them. if the bass in the chops that i played out sounds good, then maybe i'll just fatten up the bass a little by layering if needed, but if i want to lay down my own bassline, here's a clue as to what i do...

i take a part of the sample that has a profound bass note and i bring it over to my computer to load it into adobe audition. i use graphic EQ with the highest range to filter out the highs so that i'm left with just the bass. i normalize so that i can see the waves better. i zoom in so that i can see the waves, and i find a part where there's 3 consecutive wave oscillations that look similar (it's best to make sure the 3 oscillations are not part of the attack or decay of the note, you'll get better results). i cut out the middle oscillation making the end points be where the wave crosses the zero point. i then take that single wave oscillation and copy and paste it until i have a note that's about 3 seconds long.

now what i'm left with is a bass note that matches the sample perfectly because some engineer 20-50 years ago, depending on the sample, probably spent hours tuning instruments or tweaking tracks on a multi-track to make it sound just right.

now load it to a pad and use 16 levels with note-off to freak your bassline making sure to use a high pass on all other samples so that their original bass is filtered out.
