the only ones i could find are some forat 4000s here: http://www.guitarcenter.com/pro%2Daudio/akaimpc4000/
maybe the are now continuing with customized 2500s because the 4000 is not produced anymore?

It's just a loaded 2500. $2300 for cosmetics.....hell no!

It's nice but, I'll just wait for VST or MPCStuff to offer the cosmetic parts.

yeah i just got back from GC a few hours ago and i saw this thing, i gotta say it was pretty beautiful, its white and blue with carbon fiber sides and front (!)
its got black buttons, knobs, sliders, and the data wheel seemed to me to be a bit higher quality and quieter. it has black pads look and even feel great.
i took a media card with a few programs on it (and jj) and not only would it not see anything on the card, it screwed the machine up when it tried to boot untill i had tried 4-5 times (possibly a problem with my data being saved from jj and trying to load into akaios but thats seems like it should be a non issue)
all in all, i really dig this setup and was suprised as all hell to see it, if ANY of the parts from this showup on mpcstuff or vst i will definatly be getting them.
ordering black pads right fukin now.

Yeah I saw one at GC this weekend. It looks great, but its just a 2500 with the CD, 80Gb harddrive and EXM128 preloaded. Don't know what the hype is other than looks. I guess some can draw inspiration from looks. I was quoted $2300.

Just copped it, unit 470 of 500. Its pretty slick, all white, black pads, knobs and cursor, silver engraving on the front between the cf reader and dvd. The carbon fiber sides are dope. I took pics but dont know how to post images, do I have to upload them on the internet first? BTW, I was totally content with my black 2500, Im just the collector type. The only upgrade for me was the cosmetics and CD25. On a side note, Its also nice to have a fresh HD with no corrupted files........yet

CONGRATS MAN! i'm jealous... that thing looks dope! i would actually pay the extra $$ to get one if i already didn't have the black one.
