NEW SPECIAL EDITION OF THE 2500 - MPC2500SE

This LE looks fine and a lot better than the black one IMO. There´s a kit to convert on mpcstuff, but it´s not the same as the original LE, as it don´t have the black details on the transport buttons. http://www.mpcstuff.com/mpc-2500-le-con ... i2500.html

offtopic: Oh, let me say something about this Araab music please. All he do is hit the pads fast to make some noise out of time, with no feeling, no bounce, not musical. Try to hear him without seeing the video. Trash. I don´t think he can even replace a drummer on a band. Got to say that.

When Numark bought akai everything went downhill. It would take a Pioneer/Akai partnership for me to buy another hardware MPC again. Everything from numark that I have touched (after a few years) had been a horrible experience. My 2500 still functions, but I have to do all kinds of alternative tricks to make a beat. The least Numark should do is provide some GOOD aftermarket replacement parts..like a jog wheel that doesn't click and responds..faders that don't trip-out when you make small adjustments, and buttons you don't have to forcefully press hard to respond!
If I do buy another hardware drum-machine, it will have to be American made. Not sure if what I heard was true, but if Numark/Akai is really putting cheap "Made in China" parts in these expensive devices, I can't support them anymore.
PS. there's nothing wrong with China parts as long as they are QUALITY parts. There's no reason my my Emax from 1986 is fully functionable, and my mpc from 2007 is half broken down! I expect at least 5 years of daily usage out of a $2000 drum machine.
