Not enough memory to do anything?

not sure... perhaps you can just work on half of the sample at a time.. ?
I have not run into this problem yet -only had my MPC for 2 days!!!

try importing the sample and immediately trimming in in half. get rid of the second half. Work on the first half chop it, trim etc. save the samples to CF card.

then import the sample again, trim away the first half, and work the remainder, chop trim, etc..

Anyone know the specs for the ram? I'm pretty sure it's single slot DDR RAM, but not exactly sure. I've also seen someone mention if your getting non-Akai ram, you have to purchase a double memory card, so 256MB instead of 128MB.
