dont quote me on this but if you got JJ on it i think there might be ways around using function buttons sending CC messages, not sure tho


personally I wouldnt bother fixing it, send it back to the seller and request your money back...if in fact it got damaged during shipping he'll be able to file a claim with the delivery people.

two things you dont know is if it was busted prior to getting shipped out, or if it got damaged during shipping. one thing you do know it's not working right and it will come out your pocket to fix it.

everything koncept said is true....... the truth is it shouldn't be on you to fix something that wasn't sold as broken... but since you mentioned getting a great deal on it, i can only assume that's where the reluctancy to ship it back stems from... kind of a tough call.
