Saving on CD-R's

ok, i meant maxing out as in filling up while in use. i think you'd be better off with just the cf card and the hard drive. you'd keep all your stuff on the hard drive, and transfer using a cf card. if you're just going between modern mpcs it shouldn't be a problem. seeing as you've already bought it, maybe you could use the cd drive to backup data on the hard drive, albeit later on when it becomes fully functional. sadly you have to think of the current os as a work in progress.

Yeah. I guess maxing the HD at this point is almost a given.


Im just gonna haveta do it. Probably should have just done it in the first place.

The CDM-25 reads CD and DVD formats. It can read/write to CD-R/CD-RW. With the current OS, it burns wav files to the audio CD format.

Today..there is more music available on CDs. There is also plenty of sample libraries on CD/DVD Rom. With the built in CD burner..you have options.

Thats the point. It has read cd's fine.

However, it did not allow me to save the Progam w/ Samples and All Sequences and Songs files to the cd-r.


Unless theres a different function pad that I would need to use other than "mode" "save", I dont know what the problem is...

I should have been more clear. And it was already mentioned earlier.

The CDM-25 does not save data (Programs, squences, etc). Only wav files.

Yeah. The one gentleman that spoke in three word snippets said that it was only .wav's. Wasn't really getting much reliable info there.


Noone else seemed to really know.


Thanks tho. Looking at your previous post...you were pretty clear. I've just had a long day and even the simplest things are killing me.
