i really dont know what else to suggest siver. do you know anyone that is in this stuff who might be able to see your setup and help "on site" as it were?
have you setup a channel in cubase with midisport as its output and then triggered a program from the MPC yet?
you know if you have a valid license you could always call steinberg directly and get them to help over the phone. if you didnt buy it, rather you have demo version cracked then it might not work at all.
Oooo - there is a program called MIDI OX - it is hard to use, but it will determin whether MIDI is TX and RX from your PC. might be somewhere to start?
