I was going to buy the black Data Wheel and black Cursor from Akai but they were taking to long with my order cuz they were out of stock.

It went on for about 2 months with them having no parts for me so I got frustrated and cancelled my order. Instead Im going to paint them like the rest of my buttons. I painted the cursor but then I ran out of paint. When I get a chance Im going to finish up...

Its nothing crazy. Real simple, yet its got my flavor to it...

bills, expenses, etc, have forced me to put my 2500 up for sale...... right after I'd placed my order on Styleflip for the custom skin. great

I thought about selling mine plenty of times because I never use it, But I just can't do it. I remember how I felt when I sold my 2000XL. "I thought I was going to need counseling". But aaayyy, Everything has it's price. If some one offered me $1500.00 for the MPC with both casings and the stand, I would probably take it but it would still be very hard to let go.

2000 is so battered that i havent even had the drive to start
and it might be the only one i sell..hahahah oh wait nah im gonna sell a custom xl here shortly..

hey n8-r u should sell the 2500 and buy a 500 so u can at least still keep on makin music!!

For reals I waited 2 months for that ****... Fvck that Akai was taking to long

And I just sold it like 20 minutes ago. Was sad to see it being carried away... but the big wad of cash in my hand cheers me up a bit.

I'll continue making music, but for now, until I get out of this rough patch I'm going through, I'll have to stick to software.

Maybe I'll buy a cheap MPD controller, so that at least I still have some pads to bang on

i havent even really done a nice 2500 yet..im waiting on vst to get more cases in..i paid for one about a month ago,i had to call last week just to make sure they havent forgotten me,and they say there still empty,,so as soon as i get my new case i might do something crazy with it..not sure yet..

maybe flaming orange with hot pink buttons..

Im done.

I will post pics when I get good lighting. Theres still some minor things I want to do aswell though... But that I will do later.

All the buttons were painted by me... The only buttons I didnt paint were the clear ones.

Im planning on getting a StyleFlip. Just plain black with green lettering... Im trying to get rid of all the red.

Im also going to paint the top red portion of the REC GAIN on the knob to green. I was going to wait to do all of this but whats the point... Its nothing crazy so I might aswell show you guys what I have done so far.

Im also going to change the red LED's to GREEN. Been wanting to do that since I first got my MPC. I cant stand those red LED's.

Any suggestions would be nice.
