kinda off topic but.....do you think its worth coping sample from bangin beats........are there drums that clean that they could sell a large libary for $500.......any ever experience their drums

have to be carefull of what website you are talking about..... certain ones are ***'d out.

pm me with some good ones that worth it......i hear alot of kits that sound like shit with hisses and stuff behind them

I have been getting a lot of inquiries about the hard drive...

Here is the info you guys asked for...Enjoy!

Seagate Momentus 100GB Notebook Internal Hard Drive
ST9100823A-RK
5400 RPM (could be better)
8MB cache (No complaints)
PC or Mac (reformatted by the MPC2500)

Mind you I only store drum sounds/sound effects on my MPC2500. I use an external SCSI hardrive on my Akai S5000 for samples in addition.

The MPC2500 only currently sees drum PGM's,etcera...I have most of the classic drum boxes programmed in and some kits from softsynth drums.

It's my first MPC and I have no complaints (other than it would be nice to have the MPC4000 too!)

yes yes , its all about the 100gig!( got a samsung HM100JC , 54000rpm - it does the job , 8mb , low noise tech and so on , ) just need the cdm-25 and i can leave my comp out if need be. never thought upgrading woulda been so easy to do .
