my chocie to go with 2500 over 4000

i was at one of the long & mcquade locations a few weeks ago... i noticed they had a used 4000 on display... so i asked dude sitting behind the desk if i could try it out... so he took it to the back and asked me to follow him... dude couldn't even figure out how to turn it on... once it was on, he couldn't figure out how to make it work... he just kept hitting pads and pressing buttons until i was like 'you know what, don't worry... i'll figure it out.' anyway it took a few minutes but i was able to figure it out, i loaded up a program and started playing around... did a quick drum pattern... the jog wheel with the cursor buttons as the circumference - that s**t 's the truth... by far the best... i mean that should be the standard on all mpc models if you ask me... and navigating around wasn't too hard (my first mpc was the 1k)... i think once you learn to use one mpc, it's just a matter of reading a bit of thinking and some common sense... it [the 4000] obviously has it's differences from the other models but in my honest opinion, for that much money - i'd rather get a DAW... i'd rather go with the 1k or the 2500 right now... but that's just me.
