yea, im subbin this just as a reminder myself.

i just bought mine a few weeks ago (worked two jobs to get it), but im still workin two to pay off random debts, so i havent had much time to mess w/ it.

saying this would be convenient is an understatement.

^^^ I have the same problem. Plus I'm a full-time student. It sux. Now that I actually have money from working to get gear, I have no time to use any of it =(

But I decided to take a hiatus from one of my jobs and I'm break from classes now. Time to get my learn on!

Lookin forward to the dvd. Did you decide to do the 2-disc dvd set idea?

That SOS article you were writing - was it about the MPC 2500? Cause if it was, I just read it standing in the shop, while at lunch! Interesting article.

As for the OS's - I think that the Official OS should be what the DVD is about. Until Akai say that they endorse that OS then it is ... what? Unofficial.
Besides this is the wrong forum to be discussing this! Jokes.

Wooow.... that's a greatest idea ever.. the DVD could open my eyes on a mpc...
I would be absolutely happy to have one,coz I've got my mpc nearly a half year, and I still on a manual level...
a first reason is- coz I'm working too hard and I can't do anything with that I have to,and a second reason is I'm not english...well I'm not saying I'm absolutely stupid with a language, but I'm still have to open vocabulary time after time while reading a manual...and when you haven't got anough time for that and even u can't get som words It's **** killing...

So, actually I don't really care about a price of that DVD tutorial, but I DO care of realise's date... Really want some....
I must say - HURRY UP !
It would be greatest moment when I'll get It..

Thanx!!

Quick update.

The studio that will conduct the filiming has been booked and the product should be ready within 6-8 weeks.

This is not your usual 'guy in room with camcorder' rubbish, but a proper fully fledged DVD much akin to manufacturer product releases and demos.

In fact, the company filiming and authoring the DVD do all of Korg's work etc..

Thnx for your patience.

Sweet, sounds like a cool project! Id like to see information especially on time stretch, assigning effects to pads and sliders, Chop Shop, and work flows that are commonly used. thanks for asking.

what i don't want to see is something that's in the manual.I think it should all be creative ways to use the functions that people would not normally thought of.Tricks and tips...lot of 'em

Thats funny, cause the first time I replied to this thread I went through the manual and pretty much quoted the chapter headings!!! Ah HA-HA-HA!

Hopefully he steered clear of the manual material. Seriously why invest so much money on an expensive piece like the 2500 and not even bother to read the manual?

Let's see some tricks and new ideas. Spread the knowledge!
