Didn't Akai release the 3000LE just before they discontinued it?

-No, the 3000 was already discontinued before the LE-version came out.

Was this one the first photo you posted of it? And when did you do the actual mod? I would guess a company like Akai would need about 1 year from such an idea to putting it to the market.

Just got the GC catalog and it does look pretty dope....
Doesn't seem like that bad of a deal, seeing as you'd have to pay for the upgrades separately if you bought a reg. black 2500.

Do you think it's worth trading in my 1000 towards one of these 2500's?

Well, I just answered my own ?tion....I can get a brand new black one with all the accessories for $1850 from my guy at GC...he can't however, go down on the price of the LE.

It looks tight, but not $450 tight....

If their going to charge more for a remodeled version of the 2500 they could have at least made it look better than the original. The all black mp is prolly the dopest looking mp to hit the scene, minus the scrollwheel. Also, I would have thougth that they would max it out for the price its going for. But, whatever. Props to those who purchased this. One

There's only 500 and i'm sure they'll go quick.

It's nice but, I'll just wait for VST or MPCStuff to offer the cosmetic parts.

i need the rotory assembly for qlink 3 (over the sliders) is there any other sites to try? I didnt see it listed on mpcstuff web site
