I don't think I ever used the Akai OS on my 2500. The only time I remember using the Akai OS was when I test drove the 2500 in Tokyo!

I didn't go for the free one. Im waiting until thursday when my direct deposit kicks in. And Ill by the big boy jj. Then finally i'll see what the fuss is all about. I've never even touched an mp running jj yet.

For now im heading to see the Pacquiao fight

If you don't make sample based beats, I don't really think JJOS will really have a big impact on your production. But for sample beats, the global program editing alone is worth the money! Imagine having over 60 chops of a sample and having to adjust them all individually! Sucks!

Thats pretty much what my 2500 looks like .. i went with 12in skinz and man does it look dope ... and the quality of the skin is unbeatable .. it even came with side panel skins i gotta pic of it on my myspace.com/krzone81 i now have black pads black cursor and black jog , knobs ,buttons and q-link caps ."not painted'

naw man it's not the limited edition one, it's a reg one converted but not fully(some buttons not converted from white, some knob tops made red to match pads has "blue screen" upgrade (100 to 150 dollar value)

it's not a full on LE or reg it is kinda custom hybrid of the two but lower price being used.

Maybe someone got the LE kit from mpcstuff...who knows...I think Ex is right though...I'd bet it's an LE w/ red pads..

it has some reg features and some le features but also the blue screen, red pads red top knobs some buttons still reg some changed , so like a mix between the two ten the pads and screen
